It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Pana had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Sullivan Redskins 7-5. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Redskins recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Shelby Ashcraft made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Ashcraft wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Allie Sarver, who went 1-for-2 with two runs. Another was Izzy Reed, who went 2-for-4 with two runs.

Pana's record now sits at 15-10-1. As for Sullivan, their loss dropped their record down to 19-12.

Pana didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-1 defeat against Meridian on the 23rd. Sullivan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
