Volleyball Recap: Bloomfield Hills Takes a Loss

Bloomfield Hills was the 3-0 winner over Lake Orion when they last played one another on Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Black Hawks fell just short of the Dragons by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Kayla Nwabueze paced Bloomfield Hills' offense, picking up 13 kills. Nwabueze got some help from Brynn Wilcox and her 20 assists. Allison Stakoe controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Bloomfield Hills' loss dropped their record down to 31-4. As for Lake Orion, their win bumped their record up to 17-22-1.

Looking ahead, Bloomfield Hills will take on Troy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lake Orion, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against South Lyon on the 11th.
