Mullen waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They didn't even let the Steamboat Springs Sailors on the board, marking their second-straight 2-0 shutout. That's more bragging rights for the Mustangs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Mullen easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-10.

Mullen's record is now 3-0. As for Steamboat Springs, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mullen will welcome Golden at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Steamboat Springs, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Roaring Fork at 4:30 p.m.
