Barrington had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They enjoyed a cozy 35-18 win over the East Providence Townies. For the Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 26-22 victory the Townies walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2021.

Barrington didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 28-21 defeat against Cumberland on the 12th. As for East Providence, they have also already played their next contest, a 32-28 win against West Warwick on the 12th.
