Basketball Recap: Shenandoah Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Shenandoah had won two straight games and Garrett May did his part to make it three on Saturday. Everything went the Shenandoah Raiders' way against the Muncie Burris Owls as the Shenandoah Raiders made off with a 70-48 win thanks in part to May, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and ten rebounds. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 45.4% shooting accuracy.

The team also got some help courtesy of Zane Mitchell, who posted no points and 13 assists. He has become a key player for Shenandoah: the team is 9-1 when he posts at least eight assists, but 5-6 otherwise.

Shenandoah's victory bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Muncie Burris, they dropped their record down to 2-18 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.

Shenandoah didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 46-39 loss against Frankton on the 25th. As for Muncie Burris, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 63-39 defeat against Madison-Grant on the 25th.
