Basketball Recap: Paisley Beddingfield's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Princeton over Beddingfield + How To Watch

Princeton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 54-49 heartbreaker at the hands of the Beddingfield Bruins. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 61-50 to the Bruins when the teams met back in February, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Princeton's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Paisley Beddingfield, who posted 18 points and three steals. Beddingfield has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last ten times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Renee Saulnier, who put up eight points in addition to seven rebounds and six steals.

Princeton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Beddingfield, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Princeton will welcome South Johnston at 5:30 p.m. on the 3rd. As for Beddingfield, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Southern Nash at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
