Sierra hasn't had much luck against Mesa Ridge recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Sierra Stallions will challenge the Mesa Ridge Grizzlies at 3:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

On Tuesday, Sierra got the win against Mitchell by a conclusive 21-5. That's two games straight that the Stallions have won by exactly 16 runs.

Marisa Reyes made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Reyes was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and a triple.

In other batting news, Sierra got a massive performance out of Vivian Valenzuela, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Like Sierra, Mesa Ridge also got a great game from a two-way player: DonnaPaola Martinez. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
