Volleyball Recap: Rolling Meadows Comes Up Short

Rolling Meadows lost against Buffalo Grove back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mustangs fell just short of the Bison by a score of 2-1. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Rolling Meadows sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-21, 27-29, 25-18.

Inti Zapata paced Rolling Meadows' offense, picking up ten kills. Zapata got some help from Logan Quadros and his 28 assists.

Rolling Meadows' defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Buffalo Grove, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rolling Meadows will take on Libertyville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Buffalo Grove, they will head out to face off against Hersey at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
