Tonopah never let their opponents score on Friday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 54-0 win over the Spring Mountain Eagles. The Muckers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by 38 points or more this season.

Dustin Otteson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 311 yards and five TDs on only 15 carries, while also throwing for 42 yards and one touchdown while completing 75% of his passes. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making 20 total tackles and defending three passes. Another player making a difference was Adelaido Salgado, who gained 66 total yards and a touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Tonopah was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 437 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 269 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Tonopah's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-0. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.5 points over those games. As for Spring Mountain, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1.

The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Muckers 9.7, the Sidewinders 6.8) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Spring Mountain will take on rival Pahranagat Valley at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
