Recap: Belle Tigers vs. New Bloomfield Wildcats
The Belle Tigers pushed their score all the way to 62 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of New Bloomfield by a score of 64-62. Belle was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as New Bloomfield apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead New Bloomfield to victory, but perhaps none more so than Wyatt Jordan, who scored 18 points along with 8 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Fuhriman, who scored 13 points along with 6 assists and 3 steals.
Belle's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for New Bloomfield, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4.
Belle will look to defend their home court on Friday against Russellville at 5:30 p.m. New Bloomfield is on the road again on Friday and play against South Callaway at 7:00 p.m. on December 8th.
