Volleyball Recap: Bay Area Christian Comes Up Short

Bay Area Christian and Legacy Prep Christian Academy squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Bay Area Christian had to settle for second. They came up short against the Lions, falling 3-0. The Broncos were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

While Bay Area Christian was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-14, 25-16.

Despite the loss, Bay Area Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Addison Wilson had 24 digs and two aces. Wilson has been hot for a while, having posted 11 or more digs the last 31 times she's played.

Bay Area Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-19-1 record this season. As for Legacy Prep Christian Academy, the win snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 7-14 record.

As of now, neither Bay Area Christian nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
