Baseball Recap: Anthem Prep Eagles vs. St. David Tigers

Anthem Prep fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against St. David on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 8-5 to the Tigers. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Jaxon MacHugh was huge no matter where he played even without the win. On the mound, he tossed five innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits.
