Volleyball Recap: Wayzata Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Minnetonka

Wayzata faced Minnetonka in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Trojans fell just short of the Skippers by a score of 3-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Skippers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Wayzata's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Minnetonka, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Wayzata nor Minnetonka have any future games scheduled.
