Volleyball Recap: Alcester-Hudson Comes Up Short

Alcester-Hudson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Corsica/Stickney Jaguars. The Cubs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Jaguars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

Corsica/Stickney found their leader in freshman Remi Nelson, who had ten assists and six digs.

Alcester-Hudson's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Corsica/Stickney, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Alcester-Hudson has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Sioux Falls Lutheran on the 9th. As for Corsica/Stickney, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Sanborn Central/Woonsocket on the 9th.
