Volleyball Recap: Cypress Christian Takes a Loss

Cypress Christian lost against Lexington back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Warriors fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Cypress Christian sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 23-25, 15-11.

CONNIE QUAGLIA paced Cypress Christian's offense, picking up six kills. QUAGLIA got some help from LILAH JOHNSON and her eight assists.

Cypress Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Lexington, the win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 3-3.

Cypress Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against El Campo on the 15th. As for Lexington, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Edna on the 15th.
