Volleyball Recap: Seven Straight Home Wins for New Canaan + How To Watch

New Canaan took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Warde, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Rams had just enough and edged out the Mustangs 3-2. While the Rams didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

New Canaan wouldn't go down easily and took Warde into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-18, 26-28, 25-23, 15-13.

Mia Lockyer went supernova, getting 26 digs and two aces. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 10.5 digs per game. Claire Jan also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.
