Football Game Preview: First Presbyterian Day Vikings vs. Stratford Academy Eagles

The First Presbyterian Day Vikings are taking a road trip to face off against the Stratford Academy Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. First Presbyterian Day will be strutting in after a win while Stratford Academy will be coming in after a loss.

First Presbyterian Day took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They breezed past Mount de Sales Academy to the tune of 42-7. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won four contests by 20 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Stratford Academy played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 51-13 defeat at the hands of John Milledge Academy. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-0.

Having lost for the first time this season, Stratford Academy fell to 5-1. As for First Presbyterian Day, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

First Presbyterian Day strolled past Stratford Academy in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a score of 28-14. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
