Softball Recap: East Ascension Takes a Loss

East Ascension was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 13-2 to the Walker Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-8 back in March.

East Ascension saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mya Lanoux, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

East Ascension's record now sits at 15-12. As for Walker, their win bumped their record up to 19-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Ascension will challenge Riverside Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Walker, they will take on Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
