Baseball Recap: McLeod Comes Up Short

After flying high against Pewitt last Tuesday, McLeod came back down to earth. McLeod came up short against Pewitt on Friday, falling 14-2. The Longhorns were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Brahmas earlier this season, when they won 17-3.

McLeod's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Pewitt, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. McLeod will take on rival Maud at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Pewitt is set to face off against their familiar foe Linden-Kildare at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
