Baseball Recap: Ranburne Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Ranburne's offense. They came up short against the Bremen Blue Devils on Monday, falling 11-0. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Blue Devils recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Ranburne's defeat dropped their record down to 13-17. As for Bremen, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ranburne will host Randolph County at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bremen, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Callaway at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Blue Devils 4, the Cavaliers 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
