Basketball Recap: Front Royal Homeschool Wins Going Away Against Shenandoah Valley Academy

Front Royal HomeSchool won the last time they faced Shenandoah Valley Academy and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Flames blew past the Stars 54-30. The Flames pushed the score to 43-18 by the end of the third, a deficit the Stars cut but never quite recovered from.

Front Royal HomeSchool found their leader in sophomore Madeline Triggs, who posted 14 points.

The victory made it two in a row for Front Royal HomeSchool and bumps their season record up to 2-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.0 points over those games. As for Shenandoah Valley Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Front Royal HomeSchool will take on Immanuel Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Shenandoah Valley Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mountain View Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on January 12, 2026.
