Volleyball Recap: Prosper Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Prosper waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the McKinney Lions. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.

Prosper had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 31-33, 19-25, 25-10, 25-12, 15-13.

Prosper now has a winning record of 13-12. As for McKinney, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-15 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Prosper will face off against rival Allen at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, McKinney is set to challenge their familiar foe McKinney Boyd at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
