Football Recap: Green Mountain Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Green Mountain extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to four on Friday, dropping them down to 0-3. They were beaten by the Pomona Panthers 49-6. The Rams were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-6.

Hudson Allison threw for 43 yards on five of 17 attempts. On the ground, Drew Contreras rushed for 56 yards and one touchdown.

As for Pomona, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 4.3 points on average this season.

Tucker Ingersoll had a dynamite game, throwing for 277 yards and six TDs while completing 72.2% of his passes. What's more, he racked up 153.9 passer rating, the most he's had since back in November of 2024. Luis Santana helped Ingersoll out on the ground, picking up 95 receiving yards and three scores.

Green Mountain wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 45-19 victory against Northridge on the 19th. As for Pomona, they have also already played their next contest, a 45-14 defeat against Dakota Ridge on the 19th.
