Baseball Recap: Excelsior Classical Academy Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Excelsior Classical Academy had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They came up short against the Vance Charter Knights on Monday, falling 17-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 11 in a row.

Vance Charter now has a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Excelsior Classical Academy will head out to challenge Eno River Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Eno River Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Excelsior Classical Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Vance Charter, they will head out on the road to take on Clover Garden School at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Vance Charter is facing Clover Garden School at the right time seeing as Clover Garden School is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
