Baseball Recap: Carbondale Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Carbondale's offense. They fell 3-0 to the Centralia Orphans on Tuesday. The Terriers just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Carbondale's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Centralia, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carbondale will head out to square off against Murphysboro at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Red Devils will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Terriers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Centralia, they are taking a road trip to take on Mt. Carmel at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
