Show Low came tearing into Thursday's matchup with 12 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.1 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 14-5 margin over the Winslow Bulldogs. Considering the Cougars have won 14 games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Show Low got a massive performance out of Peyton Watkins, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI Watkins has posted since back in March. Bode Kenney was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.

Show Low hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least three batters in four consecutive contests.

Show Low's victory bumped their record up to 21-3. As for Winslow, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-18.

Show Low has already played their next matchup, a 7-5 win against Chinle on the 17th. As for Winslow, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 18-5 loss against Snowflake on the 17th.
