Volleyball Recap: Central Christian Triumphs + How To Watch

Central Christian won the last time they faced Rittman and things went their way on Monday too. The Comets walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Indians. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Comets.

Central Christian had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-16, 25-17, 31-29.

Central Christian can attribute much of their success to Saralyn Stjernholm, who had 17 digs and one assist.

Central Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Several Indians players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mackenzie Beltz, who had 28 assists and nine digs. Madison Beltz was another key player, getting 20 digs and three assists.

Central Christian's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Central Christian has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Dalton on the 21st. As for Rittman, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Medina Christian Academy on the 21st.
