It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Perham Yellowjackets had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 65-53. The win was familiar territory for Perham who now have eight in a row.

Willow Thiel continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 33 points and 15 rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Perham's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cora Grismer, who scored 15 points along with two steals.

Perham is on a roll lately: they've won 20 of their last 21 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 25-3 record this season. As for Barnesville, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-11.
