Cobre entered their tilt with Santa Fe Indian on Saturday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Braves with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Indians, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-12, 25-21.

Hayley Gutierrez paced Cobre's offense, picking up 23 kills. Gutierrez got some help from Isis Dominguez and her 30 assists. Dominguez was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Cobre's victory bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Santa Fe Indian, they moved to 11-3 with that loss, which also ended their six-match winning streak.

Looking ahead, Cobre will challenge Deming at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Santa Fe Indian, they will be playing at home against St. Michael's at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
