Banning came out on top against Rancho Dominguez on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run fifth inning. The Pilots blew past the Lobos 9-2. The Pilots haven't had any issues with the Lobos recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on AJ Herrera, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with three runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Pedro Ibanez-Eddy, who went 2-for-4 with two runs.

Banning's record now sits at 18-8. As for Rancho Dominguez, they moved to 10-9 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Banning will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Lobos: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
