Everett and Medford are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2018, but likely not for long. The Crimson Tide will challenge the Mustangs at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Everett is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.

Everett was handed a 12-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Monday. They had just enough and edged out Revere 5-4. While the Crimson Tide didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Everett's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Isaiah Goffigan, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Woburn Memorial hit Medford with a nine-run fifth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Mustangs lost 16-5 to the Tanners. The defeat continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Tanners: they've now lost four in a row.

Everett's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Medford, they now have a losing record of 3-4-1.

Everett came up short against Medford in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, falling 6-3. Can the Crimson Tide avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
