Waynesboro had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They won by a set and slipped past the James Buchanan Rockets 3-2. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Rockets recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Having lost for the first time this season, James Buchanan fell to 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Waynesboro will face off against rival Gettysburg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, James Buchanan is set to take on their familiar foe Northern York at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
