On Wednesday Nick Rumbley tossed three innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits. The effort also marked the fewest walks (one) Rumbley has had since back in May of 2024. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his sixth in a row with more than five strikeouts. On the year, he has an ERA of 2.33 over 27 innings pitched.
