Antonian Prep came tearing into Monday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Devine Warhorses / Arabians a 4-0 shutout. That's more bragging rights for the Apaches, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Antonian Prep saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trinity Silva, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI. Another was Rylee De La Garza, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Antonian Prep's victory bumped their record up to 21-9. As for Devine, they moved to 18-13-1 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Antonian Prep will take on Incarnate Word at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Devine, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Somerset at 7:00 p.m.
