Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mission Viejo). They blew past the Tesoro Titans 11-2 on Wednesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Diablos considering their two-run performance the match before.

Wyatt Dunlap looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Mission Viejo is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 3-6 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Mission Viejo got a massive performance out of Jack Boucher, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one double. Those four RBI gave Boucher a new career-high. Max Osika was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Mission Viejo always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .595. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Mission Viejo now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Tesoro, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-9.

Mission Viejo will have a chance to go back-to-back against Tesoro: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.
