Baseball Game Preview: Arbor View Aggies vs. Desert Oasis Diamondbacks

For the second straight game, Arbor View will face off against Desert Oasis. The Aggies will head out on the road to challenge the Diamondbacks at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Arbor View lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Desert Oasis, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's matchup. The Aggies never let the Diamondbacks get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Tuesday. Considering the Aggies have won five games by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Arbor View got a great performance from Colton Christman as he didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Jase DeSantis was a standout: he went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs and one triple. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Landon Blais, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Arbor View was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .483. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Arbor View's record now sits at 10-6. As for Desert Oasis, their loss dropped their record down to 14-9.
