Softball Game Preview: Fleming County Panthers vs. George Rogers Clark Cardinals

The Fleming County Panthers will venture away from home to face off against the George Rogers Clark Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Fleming County is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

Fleming County came up short against Rowan County on Tuesday, falling 12-1.

Ariana Adams made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run.

Meanwhile, George Rogers Clark posted their closest win since April 26th on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 victory over Boyle County.

George Rogers Clark's win bumped their record up to 23-12. As for Fleming County, their loss dropped their record down to 6-16.

Fleming County couldn't quite get it done against George Rogers Clark when the teams last played back in March of 2022 as they fell 7-3. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
