Basketball Recap: Ouachita Parish Falls Short Against Ranked Peabody

On Saturday, Ouachita Parish faced Peabody in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Ouachita Parish Lions fell to the Peabody Warhorses 61-57. The Lions have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Ouachita Parish's defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 9-4. As for Peabody, their win bumped their record up to 11-1.

Ouachita Parish will finish 2024 at home by hosting Washington at 5:00 p.m. on December 28th. As for Peabody, they are taking a road trip to face off against Bunkie at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
