Softball Recap: Burges Comes Up Short

Burges was the 13-9 winner over Chapin when they last played one another on April 2nd, but their luck changed this time around. The Mustangs lost 14-8 to the Huskies on Thursday. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Burges saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaitlyn Valdiviezo, who went 1-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Burges' loss dropped their record down to 16-16. As for Chapin, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-7-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Burges nor Chapin have any future games scheduled.
