If Westview wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Goshen, they should've done a better job of containing Levi Sawatzky. The Goshen RedHawks came out on top against the Westview Warriors by a score of 51-41 on Friday thanks in part to Sawatzky, who went 6-for-13 on his way to 18 points and three steals. His evening made it eight games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Karter Marcum, who dropped a double-double with ten points and ten boards. He is becoming a predictor of Goshen's success: when he posts at least ten rebounds the team is 8-1 (and 4-8 when he doesn't).

The win was the third in a row for Goshen, bringing their record for this year to 12-9. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points over those games. As for Westview, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-6.

Coming up, Goshen will be playing at home against West Noble at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Goshen is facing West Noble at the right time seeing as West Noble is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Westview, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 47-37 victory against Leo on the 22nd.
