Soccer Game Preview: Conway vs. Socastee

Conway hasn't had much luck against Socastee recently, but that could start to change on Friday. Conway will head out to challenge Socastee at 7:30 p.m. Conway has given up an average of 6.8 goals per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Conway is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their seventh straight game on Wednesday. They came up short against Carolina Forest, falling 9-0.

Meanwhile, Socastee hadn't done well against Myrtle Beach recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Socastee narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Myrtle Beach 2-1.

Conway's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Socastee, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Conway might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Socastee in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can Conway avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
