Basketball Recap: Wylie Continues Road Dominance on Friday

Wylie entered their tilt with Lakeview Centennial on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They strolled past the Lakeview Centennial Patriots with points to spare, taking the game 66-50. Given the Pirates' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 179th, while the Patriots are ranked 700th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Wylie's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-11. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.4 points per game. As for Lakeview Centennial, their loss dropped their record down to 11-18.
