Space Coast has gone 7-2 against Heritage recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. Space Coast will be playing in front of their home fans against Heritage at 6:00 p.m. Space Coast is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.5 runs per game this season.

On Friday, Space Coast didn't have quite enough to beat Astronaut and fell 2-1. The loss continues a trend for the Vipers in their meetings with the War Eagles: they've now lost eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Heritage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 22-17 to Merritt Island Christian. Even if the Panthers couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Alyssa Medina led a balanced group of hitters, scoring two runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Bryce McCauley, who scored three runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.

Even though they lost, Heritage always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .545. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.

Space Coast's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Heritage, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.

Everything went Space Coast's way against Heritage when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Space Coast made off with a 19-6 victory. Does Space Coast have another victory up their sleeve, or will Heritage turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
