Basketball Game Preview: Thomasville Bulldogs vs. Glenn Bobcats

The Thomasville Bulldogs will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Glenn Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Thomasville has given up an average of 72 points per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Saturday, Thomasville lost to Bishop McGuinness on the road by a 72-54 margin. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Thomasville's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Rj Drayton, who posted 15 points, and Ziyhan Taylor, who scored nine points.

Meanwhile, Glenn strolled past College Prep & Leadership Academy with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 67-51.

Glenn's win came from a few key players Thomasville will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Derrek Griffin, who almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine steals. Those nine steals gave him a new career-high. Semaj Galloway was another key player, putting up 21 points.

Glenn was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as College Prep & Leadership Academy only posted four.

Glenn's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Thomasville, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Thomasville didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Glenn in their previous meeting last Friday, but they still walked away with a 67-63 win. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Bobcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
