Basketball Recap: Dixie Wins Going Away Against Carolina Academy

On Monday, the Dixie Hornets didn't have too much trouble with the Carolina Academy Trojans as they won 40-22. The 40-point effort marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Dixie's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Carolina Academy, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-13.

Dixie will face off against GREEN Upstate at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Dixie is facing GREEN Upstate at the right time seeing as GREEN Upstate is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Carolina Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Palmetto at 8:00 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
