Baseball Game Preview: Corpus Christi Moody Trojans vs. Ray Texans

Corpus Christi Moody hasn't had much luck against Ray recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Trojans will head out to challenge the Texans at 8:00 p.m.

Corpus Christi Moody is headed into the match having just suffered their closest loss since March 18th on Tuesday. They fell just short of Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial by a score of 3-1.

Corpus Christi Moody saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elohim Ramirez, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Ray came out on top against King on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run fourth inning. The Texans' pitchers stepped up to hand the Mustangs a 13-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Texans, who have now won eight games by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Ray and bumps their season record up to 16-10. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Corpus Christi Moody, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-13.

Corpus Christi Moody suffered a grim 13-0 defeat to Ray in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Trojans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
