The Covenant took a five-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Highland, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Eagles came out on top in a nail-biter against the Hawks on Tuesday, sneaking past 2-1. This was payback for The Covenant, who suffered a 5-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Dre' Headley was the driving force of The Covenant's attack as he scored both of The Covenant's goals, bringing his season total up to 12 goals.

The Covenant's victory bumped their record up to 5-0.

Looking ahead, The Covenant will venture away from home to square off against Eastern Mennonite at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Highland, they will square off against Randolph-Macon Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The game will give Highland their first taste of in-conference action this season.
