Volleyball Recap: Doherty Memorial Comes Up Short

Doherty Memorial lost against St. Paul back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Highlanders took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights. The Highlanders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Doherty Memorial started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 11-25, 25-18, 25-19, 25-23.

Doherty Memorial's record now sits at 12-3. As for St. Paul, they pushed their record up to 8-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Doherty Memorial will square off against South at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Paul, they will challenge North at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
