Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Verona). They blew past the Oregon Panthers 15-3 on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Verona's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-7. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.5 runs over those games. As for Oregon, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Verona will face off against Sun Prairie East at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oregon, they will take on Beaver Dam at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
