After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Fort Payne, Hazel Green was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Southside Panthers by a score of 38-29. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Trojans considering their 12-point performance the contest before.

Hazel Green's win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-6. As for Southside, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hazel Green will host Columbia at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Trojans will be up against the Eagles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 46.11 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Southside, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Pell City at 7:00 p.m.
